Government has released first installment for beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Hathras for construction of house. Installment has been transferred to bank accounts of beneficiaries under Housing for All mission. Government set a target to provide affordable houses to 355 homeless people on Uttar Pradesh.
Target was based on data provided by Socio Economics Census 2011. District Rural Development Agency has transferred 1st installment to 278 eligible beneficiaries.
Letter of authority was given to eligible beneficiaries in a meeting headed by Magistrate Amit Kumar. Legislative representative Rameshwar Updhyay was also present at the meeting.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was launched with an aim to provide affordable house to people by year 2022. For current year candidates will be selected on basis of SECC Data.
